The History guide

Contains information on the history of the city. Although not a comprehensive reference, the history guide contains a section on the city founding as well as information on the following periods: Ptolemaic, Roman, Arab, and Modern. Special sections are dedicated to the Ptolemaic legacy and to the famous Alexandrian Queen Cleopatra. Those familiar with the city can browse through a guide to present locations of ancient sites and historic maps of the city.


The Visitor guide

Contains general tips for visitors, information for people traveling on business or moving to Alexandria as well as maps of the eastern and western districts, information on accomodation, restaurants, communication (Telephone, Internet, etc) and foreign consulates. Transportation information includes local transportation and car rental, and general guidelines on how to reach Alexandria. Tourists can check a variety of places to visit, as well as information on the famous resort of Al-Alamein.

Includes links to photographs of monuments and modern attractions, and historic pictures.


The Auditorium

Contains audio and song clips related to Alexandria and its culture.
